This site belongs to the Beachcomber Inn and exists to help you plan a stay or look into owning a week. Here is what it collects, and what happens with it.

The inquiry form

When you send an ownership inquiry, we collect the details you type in: your name, email address, phone number if you share it, your message, and the unit and week you asked about. That information goes to the front desk and to Meanwhile, the company that runs this website for the resort, so someone can get back to you. It is stored securely with our hosting provider, and it is used for answering your inquiry and nothing else.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the resort and its website operator. If you would like your inquiry deleted, email info@beachcombertahoe.com and we will take care of it.

Spam protection

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It checks your browser without tracking you across other sites.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site, so we know which pages help you plan a stay and which ones get in the way. It tells us things like which pages were visited, roughly where in the world visitors came from, and whether they arrived from a search, a link, or the QR code in a guest room. It sets cookies in your browser to do that.

We do not use it for advertising. Advertising and personalization are switched off in our setup, we run no ad accounts, and we do not build profiles or sell anything to advertisers.

Your choices

Outside the United States, we ask before analytics runs at all. Nothing is sent to Google until you say yes.

Inside the United States, analytics runs unless you turn it off. You can turn it off any time, and we will remember that choice on this browser for a year.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it automatically and never ask you again.

Everything else

Browsing this site requires no account. We also count a few basic actions ourselves, such as how many people tapped a booking button, without cookies and without storing your address or your browser details. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs for security, the way nearly every website does.
